Recipient:

Port: configured on R3 pointing to XI

partner num: the partner number of the partner defined in type KU

part. type: KU

Sender:

Port: configured on XI pointing to R3

partner num: the partner number of the XI system defined

part. type : the partner type for XI defined

Hey Shabarish

jst a quick question, for this specific scenario(IDOC to File) why are we giving the paramaters of XI in the sender and R/3 in receiver for control structure ?

since IDOc is going from R/3 to XI,wont it be the other way round?

i jst want to clear my doubt coz i always get confused in this:)

thanx

its something similar to the sender adapter and receiver adapter in XI. You know the usual confusion with the outbound and inbound interfaces

hi,

Shabarish,

Thanks very much for your reply,

i send IDOC as you mentioned parameters, but in SXMB_MONI, i am getting error: it says no receiver agreement defined for Receiver business service, but i have defined it in ID.

Sending side: i have business system to send IDOC.

Receiveing side: i have business service without party to receive FIle.

I have not created party on receiver side.

Is there anything i have to configure more.

thanks.

thanx shabz

so that means for a File to IDOC scenario,we will have R/3 parametrs under sender and XI paramaters for receiver control structure?

Can you follow the blog - /people/shabarish.vijayakumar/blog/2006/09/13/wanna-party

Also do a check in sxi_cache for the cache entries. Maybe you can also clear the cache or do a full cache refresh.

Dear Shabarish,

Thanks,

But my receiver agreement is getting listed under runtime cache.

Do you think, for that i have to create party? as error is not saying that : Party and service not defined,

Error is : No receiver Agreement found for receiver business service.

Anyways will define party on receiver side and in identifier will add reference to R3 system.

Is It Ok ?

thanks.
