Urgent shipment for Customer

Hi Experts,

We are facing one issue in wms in our company, we are using next empty bin putaway strategy in our storage type, some time what happens that the material is extemely urgent for the customer, so when we are booking the production entry then system allocate the next empty bin, but we have to load the material to the truck or vehicle immediately without putaway to that bin. So in this case there is no meaning of this suggested bin by the system. Currently we are doing LT12 to the same bin and sending the material to the customer. Is this the right method. Please suggest.

Hello,

System will behave as you customized it, it is logical that is sloc is WM managed you have to move material to warehouse. Now in your case as you dont want to move material to WH but you want to load it directly into truck, for doing this you have to complete processing in WM without actually moving material in WM.

Perform GR against production order but physically do not move material into WH. Then you can create delivery and issue goods from same destination bin.
