Hiding field in Rental Object

Hi experts,  I would like to hide a few field. I do it in spro by using Field status per Usage Type. Some of them behave differently than I would expected for example: RU no. Old- I can’t hide it,      Floor, To floor –after hiding I see their lables.  Is this the correct action   SAP?  Rgds, Stenwa

Add information for the reason:

If you check the technique information by using F1,

you will find for the field "Floor", it's:

Table Name         REBDROFLDS

Table category     Struct.

Field Name         XSTOCKDD           <<<<<<<<<<<<<<

Data Element       REBDXSTOCKWDD

And for the label of "Floor", it's

Table Name         REBDROFLDS

Table category     Struct.

Field Name         SSTOCKW           <<<<<<<<<<<<<<

Data Element       VVSSTOCKW

Since XSTOCKDD  is different from SSTOCKW, you need to do as described in note 931741, I think you get the image now...

Hi Bowen,

I think, it will be problably ok. Say me, in configuration I shuld set nothing  in old field, but "input field" in new field?  Or both are visible?

I  have different screens for different usage types .I ask you which of fields i should choose for usage type, which is visible?

Hi Stenwa,

For the old field ,eg XSTOCKDD, nothing should you do.

please only assign the REBDROFLDS-SSTOCKW field to field group 35 and the

REBDROFLDS-SSTCKBIS field to field group 36 (Transaction REBDRO0002).

Then, in the step of  "Field Status", you can set the field group 35 and 36 to invisible.

Regarding you question about the setting for usage types, I think you don't need to change anything.

I've ask in my post about field  RU no. Old. I've written  I can’t hide it. What about it? Do you know answer?

Hi Stenwa,

For the field "RU no. old" (REBDROFLDS-SALTNR "Number of rental unit in existing real estate system"). I think it can no be hide in standard way.

Reason is that if we hide this field, it may caused in cosistency if there is a number for the rental unit in existing real estate system.
