IDM and GRC integration using VDS

Hi All

We are attempting to integrate GRC AC10 with IDM 7.2 using the Virtual Directory server. Configuration seems fine but when we attempt to run the initial load job for GRC in the Identity Centre the job fails with the following error.

fromDSA.doSearch got exception, returning false - Exception:javax.naming.NamingException: [LDAP: error code 1 - (GRC Select Applications:1:Exception in GRC WS API call:(404)Not Found)]; remaining name ''

Our understanding is that IDM and VDS communicate via LDAP, VDS and GRC communicate via Web services. Everything seems to be set up correctly according to the guides.

Anyone have an idea what this error relates to?

Hi Barry,

You might have solved the problem already, but have you tried using WS Nav to test if the Select Application WS is enabled?

Also, try looking at your VDS operation log and see if any additional information shows up. Sometimes, the VDS log helps pinpoint where things are going wrong.
