how to use java script for generating excel file

Hi all,

today i was checking the excel file generated by ALV in sap so when right click on the excel file and open the file in notepad i saw lots of java script code

so i thought that sap is generating excel file using java script but i don't know how  to write java script code in webdynpro abap.

please help

You can use the sdn project "abap2xlsx" (https://cw.sdn.sap.com/cw/groups/abap2xlsx) for generating excel files in webdynpro abap.

Hi,

Web Dynpro ABAP does not support custom Javascript files. So you cannot use your own js files/codes.
