can any body tell... what are the documents ll get updated after PGI and how.

Hi Ramesh,

Ater PGI the

Material document is generated accounting entry will be  (Cost of goods sold a/c        Dr

                                                           Inventory A/c                 Cr )

                                                    

Your stock will be Reduce from ur stock

And other things are mention by Venu and venkata

  HI,

When you post goods issue, the system automatically:

Ÿ 1) Updates the quantities in inventory management and delivery requirements in materials planning

Ÿ 2) Updates the value change in the balance sheet accounts for inventory accounting (the postings

from the relevant accounting document are based on the cost of the material)

Ÿ 3) Generates additional documents for accounting, for example, for controlling

Ÿ 4) Generates the billing due list

Ÿ 5) Updates the status in all relevant sales documents

Dear rames

           after pgi these documents are updated

1) stock updated . u can check in MD04

2) documents flow are updated . u can check in se16 give vbfa table( like in ,qt, contract,cash sale etc)

3) sales documents are updated ( picking,packing,shipping,pgi) u can check in vl02n

4)documents are updated

            in accounting side : cost of goods sold debited

                                                    inventory account is credited

Example of Accounting document, after PGI:

Inventory on hand         64.50- 20120719

Cost of goods sold        64.50  20120719
