REACH Compliance statements for consumers?

Hey,

I just wonder if you think that REACH or RoHS compliance statements will be requested by more consumers in the future.

So do you think that people will walk into a store and ask for a compliance statement, before they buy a passifier or a mobile phone?

What would be the impact for manufacturing companies?

In the EU we have the CE label on consumer products which confirms that the product fulfills all EU regulation including REACH/RoHS compliance. More detailed infomation about contained substances would confuse consumers without contextual information.
