Dear Experts,

Via SM30 Tcode we can maintain printer entries in TE500 table. The printer maintained here will be picked by std tcodes for billing documents.

I have 2 tcodes where I print,

1) FPL9 - Other than LOCL all other printers like LP01, LOCG give print preview with big size font. For LOCL its too small & not readable

2) EA40 - Only LOCL is displaying output with correct alignment. For other types the text in form is misplaced.

I can either default printer in SU01 or TE500 table. I do not want user to choose a printer each time.

Issue is that there is no common printer which will display data correctly for both std tcodes. How to handle this. Kindly share your valuable inputs.

Hi AWF,

What are you using - scripts, smartforms? The print program and form are they custom or standard?

Unfortunately the formatting will depend on the printer. If you are using smartforms you can design two sets of windows and maintain device type in conditions.
