SAP IDES EHP5 ERP6 on MAXDB windows

HI all ,

I have installed SAP EHP5 ERP 6 IDES version on MAXDB , the installation was successfully completed, but later when tried to login in default client 000,001,001,800,810,811 with SAP * DDIC both are working fine, later I created user in 800 client and tried to log in (error - logon not possible current clientBI client) (I have done installation as per the PAM and DVDs shipped by SAP)

Please suggest your valid inputs

hi aps,

I hope you made a mistake during installation.

please have look on following SAP note

Note 1244548 - IDES ERP 6.0 ECC 6.0 SR3

inwhich mentioned that.

Problems with System ID:

Please do not use ERP as SID for your IDES system. This will lead
to logon failures once the system is installed

or

you have to check the license with SLICENSE tx that it is showing in green status

also check the value of parameter in Rz10

parameter : login/no_automatic_user_sapstar = 0

HI ma jamil,

Thanks for the quick response,  while running the inst. master setup during the inst export stage, I received error reports " ABAP statistics not available" I selected ok and continued and completed the installation.

This is reason not permitting to login.

what is SID which you have put/set during installation.

Please check if RSADMINA table has BWMANDT as value 800.

I suggest you remove this value 800 from the table and see if you can login .

This table is cross-client , you can change it from any other client which has cross-client changes allowed.

HI Thanks for the prompt reply and your help, I was using SID-ERP (which is not permitted, I changed now  I was able to liogin.
