Dear Friends,
When we create a Sales Order, the requirement is triggered in MRP. So when we run MD04, MRP runs successfully.
Now when we cancel a line item, then that line item should get removed from MD04.
We’ve 2 Sales Order type- say e.g Z1 and Z2.
When we cancel/ reject a line item in one type of Sales Order Z1, it gets removed from MD04. But when we cancel/ reject a line item in second type of Sales Order Z2, then it does not get removed from MD04.
Kindly suggest what can be the difference between Sales Order Z1 and Z2 regarding the above issue. Is it something to do with SD or PP or both? I don't know what is the role of Sales Order type in MRP or its cancelling. Pls help.
Thanks.

SGR this is a weird behavior indeed. Can I advise you compare both configurations of the 2 document types. Especially paying heavy emphasis on the Schedule line MRP, Requirement type, requirement class. Also, do check the Material Master views of MRP to see if there is something different when you do it in 1 sales order to the other.
