deletion flag for the material

Good Evening Gurus,

In CJ20N can we set deletion flag for the material?

We can set deletion flag for WBS & network activity but we can’t for material.

Please let me know why? Is it stranded SAP or SPRO settings

Hi,

As a standard practice system allows you to delete but not set DLFL status on material components.

The deletion of component was allowed basing on existing conditions like PR>PO>GR etc.

If you need it that way raise an OSS note to SAP.

I dont think its possible to set a deletion flag for material in CJ20N. Besides, why would you want to set the deletion flag for a material in CJ20N? Whats the business need?

May be you can choose procurement type as 'Never', so that in material components remains in network but does not generate reservation.

It's std SAP right hence we can't choose deletion flag for material.

The statement above does not make any sense. Why would they want to revoke and under what conditions would they want to revoke this?

Explain the requiremen in detail.

Yes, it is standard SAP. You cannot set deletion flag for material in CJ20N.
