Service Desk Web based message creation

Dear All,

we are configuring the service desk at Solution manager 7.0 EH1 system.

After the config we are able to create message in SAP GUI level.

But we are not able to create message in WEB based interface,  We receice an following error message

Error: You have not specified a component

Also  I couldnot find the component in the find button as attachd image.

Please let me know how to get the component to create message via Webase.

Hi,

component not able to view from workcenter

I suspect it may be authorisation issue, do you set the authorisatn for workceter?

can you check this FAQ0003, FAQ002,FAQ001 use cases below

Hi Jansi,

Thank you for your response..

I have configured service desk only.

I was able to select the component when i create incodent from SAP GUI -> help->Create support message.

But unable to select the component when i create incident in webpage

Also what is difference between service desk and workcenter.?

Hi,

please update what is the incident webpage you are referring too?? can you give the screen shot else url?

for wrk center u had to use the role SAP_SMWORK_INCIDENT_MAN, and chek this for more

Hi jansi,

I have configured the service desk. I have not don any configuration for web based configuration till now. Just I tried to start the incident creation menu using the sap Note: 742691

We are using the following URL.

http://xxxxxxxxxx.ja.xxxxxroup.com:8000/sap(bD1lbiZjPTEwMCZkPW1pbg==)/bc/bsp/sap/dswpnotifcreate/msg...

please let me know if there is any configuration i have to do for web based incident creation?.

Hi,

I read the note mentioned by you, it clearly saiying that web interface replaced by workcenter.

so why dont you try with workcenter, please google the needed guides.

And if you still need that web interface, I guess you need to set the parameters as stated in the note.

I never tried this before. Please check out.
