How to test Java IDoc_AAE adapter in PI 7.3

Hi,

I worked with PI 7.1 ,now i have a requirement to work with IDoc_AAE adapter in PI 7.3.

I have a created IDoc To File scenario,configured the required things like RFC destinations,nwa settings and then  tried testing from adapter engine but that doesnt seem to be correct procedure.

Could any one please suggest me about how to test the java IDOC_AAE adapter without doing End To End Testing.

Hi,

Did you check if IDOC_AAE adapter in Communication channel monitoring is it running.

1) test RFC destination in SAP ECC ( TCP/IP)

2) check Communication channel in NWA.

3) Try to send an IDOC from ECC to SAP PI with configured port.

4) Check in IDOC monitor tool NWA.

3) Try to create a integration scenario and with dummy service interfaces.

Hi,

there is no other way then end to end with idoc adapter

just send the IDOC from WE19 from SAP backend with dummy data
