Any enhancements for modifying V-Worklist filling from R/3

Hi All,

Object: Preference Process - Vendor worklist filling from R/3 system

Scenario: MM SA created on 17.07.2012 for one part number say X1 and vendor A1 in R/3 system. This combination is not getting transferred to GTS vendor worklist since the LTVD has been requested for period 01.01.2012 to 31.12.2012. This is the standard system behavior.

Here we request LTVD's for 2013 in the month of Nov 2012 itself, i mean advance request. But we don't have this combination in worklist to request for 2013. And we depend only on worklist data but not on any other source like Annual run, extenidng period options.

How do we bring this combination into vendor worklist by breaking standard code, is there any BADI or user exit or enhancement sopt to accomplish this requirement.

We tried doing this in R/3 plug in BADI but not succeeded.

Hello Lakshmikanth,

I would not suggest enhancing the standard code only in case there would be a reason.

Work-list for 2013 Annual run is built be requested AND maintained LTVDs.

I would suggest to maintain all requested (not answered) LTVDs at the end of 2012 (before annual run). Maybe you can think of a report which would do it in mass. Then all LTVDs of 2012 will be base for 2013 work-list using annual run.

Thanks for reply. The business is not ok to use Annual run option since there would be nearly 20 to 30 % part numbers are inactive in current period.

I mean, say we maintained LTVD's for 3000 parts in 2012, but for 2013 we should not request for all 3000 parts. Around 600 to 800 part numbers would be inactive, so eleminating those 600 parts from Annual Run is a big task for business team.

This is the reason, why we are not ok with Annual Run.

Can you please let us know if there are any other better funtional ways or technical methods.

Hello Lakshmikanth,

I think to maintain 600 products not to be request relevant is not a big deal. Business can do it in standard maintain products on LTVD Request relevant tab. Or you can consider a small report changing /SAPSLL/PRVDREL table with some nice selection screen.

Possibly much less effort then changing a work-list standard code.

Hi Gabriel,

Identifying those 600 products from huge last year list is a big taks, i think there is no method to identify them from GTS system. Business team need to do lot of manual work to identify them.

Actually the team is looking for end to end automatic process which suits for business requirement. Like v-worklist enhancement which help them requesting all from worklist itself. Finally team wants single source to request LTVD's, not more than one source like Annual Run, Worklist data etc..
