did you increase the swap size of the windows.??

what is the value of swap size?

Right click on my computer-> properties->advanced->performance options:

here change the paging size.

Also if possible increase the RAM.

then you need to restart the whole server. come server shut down and restart.

Meenakshi,

Page size already set on server around 40 gb. RAM is 12gb

i think both sufficient for solution manager. no users will be used.

Hello Venkat,

What is the total RAM size?

How did you distibuted it between CI and DB ? Generally it is 70 :30 or 60:40 between CI and DB.

Hi Venkat,

If you are on Windows, do check at task manager - performance monitor

and top command on unix to ensure no single process that grabbing high cpu and memory usage.

Also ensure network bandwidth is ok.

Hi Venkat,

This looks to me servers are not provided with the dedicated memory, itstead they are using shared ones.

Login to SSMS Right Click First node --> properties --> memory --> here you can specify the minimum and maximum server memory for SQL.You can adjust the DB memory over here.

I would have shut down atleast one system, reconfugure the memory stuff.

Thanks,

Hi Vishal,

Thanks for quick response.

when i go check for QA as you mentioned below valus are there.

Minimum server memory(mb): 6138

Maximum server memory(mb):6138

index creation memory:0

Minimum memory per query:1024 kb

For Solmon am not able to connect os level right now but at SAP level i checked PM=6gb free pm=97mb

please suggest me how can i tune?

Thanks,

Venkat

I would have set Minimum 3GB and Maximum to 4 GB and restart the system and services.

You can shut it down Solman through T code rz03 --> control --> stop SAP system, if you can login to solman.

Hi Vishal,

I have changed SQL server memory. but problem is before starting SAP the virtual memory utilization very low and after starting SAP it is consuming around 40gb page file(even though we have physical memory 6gb free)

could you help me to solve this memory utilization problem?
