SolMan get system info for incident management.

Hi all,

We now want to create two system on Solman and assign users to the two systems respectively, so that the users for system 1 can report message on his system but cannot access info about system 2, and vice versa.

However, after we setting up the two system landscape in SMSY and assign the two systems to service desk in ib52 and to users in su01, we still cannot proceed what we need. (users for system 1 can report message on his system but cannot access info about system 2, and vice versa)

We searched in some forums that we should obtain the not only customer number, but also their system information from SAP marketplace. We run AISAPCUSTNOS but we get the customer number only, but not the systems. Do it means that we cannot proceed then? Should we switch the OSS so that we can obtain the systems from marketplace as well?

Thanks.

Yes, we are working on VAR scenario and have checked this guide.

Because we only need the functionality of incident management, we do not require to set up the RFC connection between Solution manager and the managed system. We need to build the system landscape on our SolMan system and assign users and bp to the system. Do my understanding correct?

The case is that we cannot obtain the customer system from SAP marketplace via our OSS. Is it essential for the incident management?

Thank you very much.
