Execute mapping shows error message.

Hi I am trying a File2File scenario and while executing a mapping I get an error. Here is the error log.

also if req, change the data type of all to string and test the mapping. see any diff is there. this will easily help u to troubleshoot

I have removed concatenation and I am using the same message types on both sender and receiver. But I am getting the same error message.

can u throw ore info on ur mapping....like the source and target strucutre with cardinalities, any udf used or not etc....mostly the probalem shud be becuase of not assiging the correct source to target.

both the sender and receiver message types have the same element types and no udf/standard functions are used for mapping.

source message type contains:

empid - integer

empname -string

empsal- float

emploc- string

target

eid - integer

ename -string

esal - float

eloc -string.

n all the fields are mapped in the same order.

Hi,

See to test the message mapping .. first press F7-Check. If No errors

Then try to give the valid inputs,(Valid imput XML) in Test tab.

And next each node to node map- right click and click on Display Queue (in Design tab) to see the target queue result it display queue result ,check each node by node ,all are displaying correct result , then click on test in Test Tab.

I have tried different scenario's after this (file to JDBC etc...). I get the same error message. I have done all the things told by you.

just create a very simple mapping (a new one which includes different mt) and see if u get the same error. or try to reinstall the j2ee and check. but let tis be the last option..meanwhile lets check for troubleshooting it

If you are getting the same error in all scenarios , while executing the MM or activating , then contact you BASIS/ADMIN people this is some times any patches or changes will effect.

Please go to another software component version and try to find any message mapping. Put there all manatory data in test tab and run test for it.

actually whenever string functions are used and not provided with proper values they will throw an error like this

so dont worry about it there is nothing wrong in the 'java stuff'

but pls check ur mapping back in the test tab if u dont know how to use it
