Dear Folks,
I'm developing a HWC application using SUP 2.1.3 with SAP ECC as backend. I would like to store some preferences entered by user (input data) in device database and want to use for further transactions. How to store data in device database? How to use the stored data in next iteration?
Business Scenario:
User enters the customer number initially to get the consignment orders. I want to store the customer number in the device database and use it for every future use.
~ Thanks
Arun
Hi Arun,
If the data you want to use is for further and future uses and if it not very huge/large like telephone no, etc you can use pref on iOS side
For storing
NSUserDefaults *defaults = [NSUserDefaults standardUserDefaults];
[defaults setObject:<some value> forKey:@"loggedin_user_phoneno"];
For Retrieving
NSUserDefaults *defaults = [NSUserDefaults standardUserDefaults];
NSString *tempNo = [defaults objectForKey:@"loggedin_user_phoneno"];
else if data is large and you want to create an DB, you can use FMDB
Regards,
Ankur
