ECC status green but not accessible

Former Member

Hello, guys.

i'm facing the following issue:

My friend has just finished and HSC. When I try to log on it gets unreachable.

Then, I checked the dev_w0 file.

The sick problem was showing, then, I updated the sap kernel.

After doing that, the dev_w0 file was ok, not saying to access the sick transaction, making me think that the kernel is now ok.

But it still gets unreachable.... Its status is green but not possible to log on....

even setting it up on saplogon or by string sapgui host port.

Have u guys ever faced this issue before ?

Thanks in advance.

Hi Tanaka,

If its a windows machine.

Please do check the below point --> Control panel --> windows firewall --> everything in off status and then give a try to login.

Please check if your SAP logon pad entry is correct. Specify the correct instance number and the application serrver host.

Have you follow the advise earlier, use dpmon in OS level to check wps status.

dpmon pf=/pathofyourinstanceprofile

Also, ensurefile system is not fill up, especially log file space.

Try changing the Alias host name to Actual host name  in instance profile then check.

Dont forget to take the backup of the profile.
