Inspection Lot Status (CTCM)not updating if certificate is missing while GR.

Hi

Hi,

We have activated QM in procurement and using the following settings.The requirement is to allow GRN even if the certificate is missing at that time but restrict UD till the same is not recieved.

1) Config Set up:

a) Certificate type PCUD

Cert for each PO  item :checked

Certificate Check reqd:  :Checked

b) Control key :0005 ( Certificate)

2) Material Master (QM View)

   QM Procurement : Checked

   Control Key :0005

   Certificate Type PCUD

3)Goods Recipt

    MIGO < Purchase Data<Cert Reciept :No

    Inspection lot is created

Question : Inspection lot status is not updating for Certificate Recived or not

                                                                                   CTCM-Certificate Missing.

Since the status is not getting updated the UD is not restrcited even if the certificate is not recieved throgh QC51.

When I recieve the certificate throgh QC51.The CORK status is getting updated in the lot.

When the same setting is tested in another client it is working properly.

Please let me know the possible reason or if anymore settings are required to be done.

Hi,

1] Also set indicator for "Certificater per GR Item".

2] Control without Certificate: C>Without Lot: Error Msg, With Lot: Status

3] In Control Key: 0005 >> Set indicator Certificate Required.

Hello Ankush,

If you've only requirement of having Certificate Check @ GR then do the following:

1. in Certificate Types config, select 'Cert for each PO Item' alongwith 'Cert per GR Item'.

Also if you've selected indicator-'Cert Check Required', system works as per the option selected in Tab-Control without certificate. This type of control used by the system if the certificate required at goods receipt is not provided. The deciding factor is whether or not an inspection lot is created at goods receipt.

So if really does not required, remove indicator-Cert Check required from cert type config.

With this, every time you do GR, system will ask if you've received Cert with GR on MIGO screen. Depending upon selection (YES/NO), system will update inspection lot status.

Check & revert.
