Error in local purchase order;no update of references in EXEC system

Dear Experts,

We created a shopping cart and after approval the shopping cart hasnt created a follow on document (PO)

In application monitor under local errors system shows the below error

"Error in local purchase order;no update of references in EXEC system"

Can anyone guide me or provide some inputs to fix this error

Hi Lisa,

i just want to provide some more inputs.

1) We are trying to create SC and followon documents without PI in place.we are running on SRM 7.01 with support pack 07 and ECC 6.04 with support pack 08

Through Debug i found that the table BBP_DOCUMENT_TAB is not updated with the details which are required for clean_reqreq_up.

2) Does Set Control Parameters have an impact on the system? We have SPOOL_JOB_USER maintained as EBP_JOB but the user is not created in the system.Do i need to create user with the same name in su01?

Hi Subha,

The error has some reasons to are occuring, please check the following:

a) One reason for the error is because the Requester of this PO could not have any relationships maintained in the org. structure.This can happen if in SRM HR replication is active and in HR this
employee was delimited because he left the company.

b) Please ensure you have the correct IPC version according to note 533877 Pricing in EBP - Which IPC version?

Also if you run report BBP_CND_CUSTOMIZING_CHECK do you get any errors?

c) I would also recomment note 1171264 be checked and possibly implemented.

We are using a classic scenario SRM 7.01 and EHP4

a. User is having a relationship maintained in the org structure

b. No errors found in  technical customizing for conditions

c. Note is already implemented
