Autocomplete Inputbox in Webdynpro - possible ?

Dear collegues,

i have a request for a autocomplete input field. A dropdownlist appears and changes with entering (one or more) character (s) and displays only the entries which start with this characters (in the key or description).

The values will be available as Description - Key as well as Key - Description,

so an example of available dropdown values will be :

CompanyA - 1001

CompanyB - 1002

1001 - CompanyA

1002 - CompanyB

Something like this :

Is that auto complete something feasible in Webdynpro for Java ?

I am not talking about the Extended Value Selector, i guess i have to customize the DropDownByIndex Component ?

Does some documentation exists as a starting point ?

Most probably you have to wait for the Web Dynpro release where autocomplete will be implemented and I would not expect this to be before/including NW04s.
