Transfer stock between HU with different inspection lot

Hi everybody!

Is it possible to combine stock from two Handling Units (each of them has different inspection lot assigned).

If I try to transfer stock from one to another (with LT01), transfer order is successfully created.

But when I try to confirm it, I get error HUGENERAL 066 ("Quantity &1 (not packed) is less than requested quantity &2".)

If I try to transfer stock from each of them to empty HU, transfer order is confirmed without problem.

hi,

correct, it is not possible to transfer the qty. form one HU to another, bcoz u need to conver the material according to that HU. if u transfered in Empty HU then system will pick up that stck .

Thank you for explanation.

So if I want to transfer stock from HU with 'ABC' inspection lot to HU with 'DEF' inspection lot, I should repack wanted quantity from first HU ('ABC') as separate HU, then change its inspection lot from 'ABC' to 'DEF', and transfer this new HU to second HU ('DEF') ?

hi,

Correct, Bcoz DEF HU is differ than ABC HU, so u need to repack it with DEF HU then ssytem allows u .
