GRC AC 10: Login Issue with End User Logon Page

Former Member

Hi All,

I have a issue with End User Logon page. I was trying to log on from SICF using the service GRAC_UIBB_END_USER_LOGIN. System was asking for Logon credentials and I failed to enter into the logon Page.

But the same test was successful if I have already logged on the NWBC. I have navigated to all the Links on the End User Logon page without any issue. We are in AC 10 SP@08.

I have configured the USER on the End User Service GRAC_UIBB_END_USER_LOGIN with no luck.

Second time I have configured user in each of the 10 services, _EU in SICF still I have the same problem.

Still I have a question regarding the user which is configured in the service. What user type it is?

Ple guide me where I was wrong.

Your help is highly appreciated

Thanks & Regards

NAG

Nag,

Please follow the below link:

http://scn.sap.com/thread/3204119

I saw, you asked me a question. What I did is, I created a user called "EN_GUEST" and assigned "SAP_ALL" profile to it. This is of "service" type.

Having create this user in above way, I maintained this user details in all 10 services as per note#1628387.

This helped me. Hope this will also help you.

Regards,

Faisal

Hi Nag,

The User Type is 'Communication'.

Please check the below Notes:

1659802  UAM: RFC error in End User Logon authentication for LDAP

1628387  UAM: End User Logon application requires re-logon

Hope this helps!

Hi All,

Thank you for you guys inputs. I have tried with no luck.

Still I am getting the same problem.

The User Type is 'Communication'. Is this user on GRC system right!

What roles needs to be assigned to this user?

Hi Nag,

The guest user need to be configured for the services. Also, kindly note you need to maintain the user credentials for this user.

To maintain the logon information, do the following:

1. Execute transaction SICF.

2. In the Service Name, enter the name of the service mentioned above.

3. Click the Execute button.

4. Under the Virtual Hosts / Services column you will see the service

selected service. Double click on this service name.

5. Click on the Logon Data tab.

6. Click on the Pencil icon to go to change mode.

7. Enter the information for the client, shared user, language and

password.

8. Click on the floppy icon to save.

Hi Nag,

Yes, this user exists in GRC Box and it should have two Roles assigned to it.

1) SAP_GRAC_END_USER

2) SAP_GRAC_ACCESS_REQUESTER

Please maintain these two Role and check the user in Authentication Data Source whether it is correctly maintained there or not.

Hi Shreya,

Is there a way to change the http://xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx:50000/sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/grac_uibb_end_user_login?sap-client=200

to a shorter name ??

When the notification is sent out to be approved the link raps around but the user cannot select the entire link.

Thank you..
