Hi,
We are using SAP SRM 7.0, SP 10 with Portal 7.0, EHP2, SPS11 on MAC OS X Lion 10.7.4 with Safari 5.1.7
When we create a shopping cart and on the line item, try to do a lookup on a cost center for example, no window opens up for us to search.
This issue does not happen with Internet Explorer and we are only experiencing it with Safari.
It doesn't happen for all search helps. Where it does happen is:
Item Overview frame -> prod cat, unit, currency
Details for line item frame -> account assignment -> Cost center,
The screenshots attached will explain better. Items highlighted in red are the areas where the search help does not appear.Items highlighted in green are the areas where the search help does appear.
We have analyzed SAP note 1623172 (Portal renders abnormally when running on SAFARI 5.1) but we are already on the solution that SAP are recommending.
Are there any options available to us? SAP have come back and told us we need to upgrade to SRM 7.0 EHP1, however they also told us that there are some workarounds available that have been explored on the SCN. Has anyone else experienced this & found a workaround without having to move to SRM 7.0 EHP1?
Thanks,
Bernard.
Hello,
From SRM point of view, as per Product Availability Matrix available under "Release & Upgrade Info" in Service Market Place, Apple Safari would be supported only as of SRM 7.0 with EHP1.

Ricardo

Hi Bernard,
We had the similar issue and SAP recommended Notes 1715011 and 1715012. These both notes have various child notes to render the page for Safari browser.
Thank you
Ritesh
