TDMS Stand-Alone Scrambling Setup and Configuration

So we have installed the TDMS server now do we also need to setup a sender and a receiver system if all we are looking to do is scramble some data in a QA environment. Any help anyone can provide on setting up the server for for stand-alone scrambling will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Hi Muneet,

For the standalone scrambling, you can use your QA system itself as central, control and execution systems. You can also have separate systems as central/control and execution system.

There's no need to establish a sender and receiver system, you just need to have an exeution system (which could be QA in your case).

Thanks Rupam.

So does that mean that if we have a box running TDMS then all we need to do is setup the execution system on it (i.e get it connected to the system we are trying to scramble)?

Assuming this does not require us to install any TDMS components on the execution system.

Hi,

If you have a box running TDMS, you have these options:

- You can connect it to another system which you want to scramble (i.e. execution system).

But, you need to install TDMS Components on the execution system as well as central/control

  systems.

- You can install TDMS components in a system which you want to scramble and make the same

system as central/control and execution system.
