Taxation entries

Hi guys,

I wanted to know if any of you have a document with regard to the accounting entries for taxes.

Since in our case a service tax is cenvatable i was wondering the exact accounting entries for this scenario.

Hi,

You will have G/L accounts linked to service tax entries and the same will appear in

the accounting just like how cenvat entries appear.

how is this different from the cenvat posting?

Hi,

Service tax accounting also will appear exactly like cenvat entries except for the change in G/L account.
