Hello,
I am doing a system refresh of the production system to the simulation system. The problem is that on both I have standby databases, and I have never refreshed one with a standby.
Can you please advise me how to proceed with the refresh in this case ? What to do with the standby ? Should I do 2 refreshes in the same time ? One for primariy and one for standby ?
Thanks in advance,
J.
Hi Jordon,
I would have proceeded as
Refresh QAS with Prod --> Build the Stand by for QAS by backup /restore from QAS refreshed DB.
As DB of primary for QAS is changing, one has to do the same in standby.
Thanks,
Vishal

hi Jordon,
You should first refresh simulation system and then refresh the standby system with the simulated system. Create the standby connectivity and configurations for the standby system.

You will have to do 2 backups and 2 restores. Once you restore the the backup from prod to simulation and then take the backup of the simulation to build the standby system .
