‘Created on’: VBRK-ERDAT and VBRP-ERDAT

In a billing document ‘Created on’ is at header and item level.

I.e. VBRK-ERDAT and VBRP-ERDAT

In a billing document:

  1. Could the ‘Created on’ date be different at header and item level?
  2. Could the ‘Created on’ date be different for items at item level?

Please explain with some business examples.

Thank you!

In theory, in the billing document these dates could only be different if billing process started right before midnight and VBRK record was created but then for some reason it ran for so long (poor performance, very long invoice, etc.) that VBRP record(s) was created after midnight.

Otherwise these dates should be the same because it's not possible to add/change/delete a line item in the billing document.
