Inspection type 89

Hello Guru,

I am new in SAP QM,Please explain what is business process of inspection type 89 and how can we map in sap.

89 Inspection type :

Generally 89 in for manual inspection lot.

Whenevr you want to carry out some analysis on material -vendor-manufacturer combination.

like CTQ ,flash audit ,process audit,SIR audit,SER audit etc.

A lot is created & UD is taken just for reference.There is no stock posting.

It is a manual Lot Creation u can able to Perform Inspection for your required Lot qty , Record Results, Ud Code , No Stock  Posting  Available for this Lot.At Any Time Inspection Lot Creation is Possible

Activate 89 Type Inspection in matl master,

Create Insp Plan usage 3 , status 4 & Attach When U are Creating the Lot via QA01
