Hello Experts,
I'm working in an GRC PC 10.0 implementation and I have some difficulties in the planning/scheduling of daily/manual controls.
Lots of these controls are tested daily, but they're closed days later, for different reasons. I understand that a control cannot be re-scheduled without being closed first. This situation generates a conflict with the planning of these controls that need to be tested daily.
Do you have any suggestions or ideas?
Thanks in advance.
Cheers,
Mauro.
Hello everyone,
I'm having the same problem and i don't understand how could be possible that a daily control cannot be tested the following day if the previous day is not closed.
It is really frecuent in daily controls that will need more than one day to collect the evidence.
Do you if there is a flag on a table, any configuration, badi, field exit, etc to void this control and let the workflow send another workitem as happen with automatic controls?
Hope you can help me
Thank you
Frank

Hi Mauro,
As already said , scheduling the control again for same timeframe without closing the previous one is not possible.
There is an option of recurrence planning that you can check if helps you -
-Go to SPRO->Governance, Risk and Compliance
-Common Component Settings->Planning and Scheduling
-Define Plan Usage
-Double click on Dialog Structure 'Plan Activity for Process Control'.
-Select the relevant Plan Usage
-Click on Details
-Check the 'Need recurring' checkbox.
In other case , provide some more details to have clarity over the issue.
Regards,
Silky Sharna

Why would you be "testing" controls daily? Usually controls are tested on a periodic basis such as monthly, quarterly, or yearly. There are two frequencies in Process Control. One is the frequency with which a control is active, which could be daily or event driven. The other is the frequency with which a control is tested. It would be highly unusual for a control to be tested daily, although the control could occur daily. Are you sure you are not mixing the two concepts?
