PPM Duration (in days) minus 1

Hello,

I am facing the problem regarding this negative PPM duration while we run SNP optimizer. Recently while we were taking our production run in SNP optmizer one run got cancelled giving message as Inconsistent input data to optimizer in Message log of SNPOPLOG. when i was trying to find out what inconsistent input data was given i came across this -1 value in the column PPM Duration (in days) minus 1 in ET_PROMO field of the input log of that particular run. This is kind of a frequent problem.

So, can somebody tell me

1. what this column actually means?,

2. From where it takes value and calculates the values in the column?

3. how to avoid this error to make sure non failure of the run?

Hello Ashok,

I am facing the similar problem.

I am thinking that in my situation the problem occurs because I load the PDS through APOLoader.

Did you solve this problem?

Hello Svetlana,

We encountered this problem in PPMs. Yes we do managed to solve the issue by implementing a BADi which converts the negative PPM duration to positive one so that optimizer doesn't fail. But we are not sure of the reasons behind the generation of negative duration PPMs.
