Abu,

I don't know how much this can add value here, as I am not so clear about what is being asked. Do you want to record the results as single value or with intervals?

  1. Are you referring an MIC which you created through QS21 with control indicator Classed recording ticked or classed characteristic created through CT04?
  2. If earlier is the case, then you must be able to enter lower and upper values in MIC. (NOT at result recording screen)
  3. In fact depending upon your tolerance here either system or you can decide class interval and class width.
  4. At result recording screen you need not enter the exact reading like in single or summarized recordings.
  5. You need enter how many samples you found against certain interval.

Hypothetical example of MIC created through QS21 with classed recording ticked

  1. Lower spec limit 10.00
  2. Upper spec limit 16.00
  3. No of classes 5, class width 1.20, class midpoint 13.00
  4. At result recording, you will observe the intervals as 10.00 to 11.20, 11.20 to 12.40 likewise
  5. You need to enter how many sample lie in this interval.

Either you have selected preset indicators ( if yes then remove the same)

or

You have not ticked on control indicators uppler limit & lower limit while creating MIC

Hi sujit ji

While creating mic i was selecting my class characterestic so( i hope) i am not able to tick the control indicatore

so my doubt is that if we use class characterestic in mic we can not record upper and lower limit?

pls advice

I think you should put question very specific & make sure that you ask precise question rather then using very genraic terms or asking question very short .

At the first quetion itself why did you not mentioned about class char. This will reduce effort & time.

This can be seen with many qustion that you asked.

This is just my views & suggestion !

Now coming back to ur second thread,

If you want Upper & lwoer limits in MIC when you are using class char then, create the class char with

Interval values allowed

This indicator defines whether you can enter an interval as a value for a numeric char.

Enter range while creating the class char.

Dear Abu,

Your initial question was

while creating characterestic MIC both upper and lower control indicatore are become disabled

Which can be solved by entering the "range in Class char"

Now coming back to your second  question

but when RR is doing i am not see any range in there

You can not enter results as range...but you can maintain it in  MIC as UCL & LCL .

I hope you are getting ,What I mean to say.

If you want Upper & lwoer limits in MIC when you are using class char then, create the class char with

Interval values allowed

Then go to values & put

10

20 ( for example)

while creating MIC with reference to class char system gives you msg ,that limits are maintained as per class char.

Now go to "Quantitative data  " and put the limits( 10 & 20)   ..save !
