Hi Claudenir Bispo & Suzzane,
How you create a test message? If you create it from "Test Message" Tab which apperas on the Normal correction Header there will be no link between test message and normal correction.
So what we can do is,go to the following path in SPRO
CRM->Transactions->Copy COntrol for Business Transaction->Define Copy
Control for Transaction Types
There you create a new entry with Source trans as SDMI and Target Trans as SDTM and select only complete Reference.Once this is done,With the normal correction when you click the follow up tran. under service process it will display Test Message.
Now when you create a test message from here it will copy the Short discribtion and the Ibase from the normal correction. If you want the Tester number copied from Current processor of normal correction, define it in the partner determination procedure.
Revert for any clarification.
Thanks and Regards,
Avinash
Hey avinash,
Your post certainly was usefull..
But how do i get the tester nos copied from the current processor of normal correction.
I really couldnt find the way to do it using Partner determination procedure..
Please help me to find out how to do it using partner determinartion proc..
Let me know if you want me to open a new thread as i cant reward you with points in this thread.
Hi Suzzane & Claudenir Bispo
Under SPRO go to
Solution Manager Imp.Guide->CRM->Basic Functions->Partner Processing->Define Access Sequences.
Create a new entire, (Eg: ZTST IT Change Request:SDCD0002 Tester)
Give a New Access Sequence Distribution,
Batch Seq.:10,
Dialog Seq.:10,
Source: COM_PARTNER_A Preceding Document
Tick-Allow incorrect source
Tick-Mapping/Definition for Partner Being Searched
Part Func in Source :SDCD0004 Current Processor(CRM).
Then go to Partner Determination Procedure and select SDTM0001 which is used for Test message and select Partner function in Procedure. Now in the Tester row go to Access Sequence and enter the sequence we have just created.
With this, the tester BP will be copied from current processor of Normal Correction.
Hi Claudenir Bispo reward points and close the thread if your issue is solved.
Rever for any clarification,
Thanks and Regards,
Avinash
Hi Claudenir Bispo ,
This will also works with Urgent correction.I have chekced it in my system. After doing the settings in SPRO,go to urgent correction, click on Create Foll-up Trans,go to service process, you will get test message.
One more thing on SDTM is you can create test message only in Test Phase of maintenance cycle.
revert for any Clarification,
Thanks and Regards,
Avinash.
Hi Claudenir Bispo
This is due to Text Determination procedure setup. In Text Determination procedure "Error Message" was set as manditory. So whenevr you create a test message you should maintain the "Error Message" which lies under overview(Right bottom),
If you don't want to maintain Error message you can do that in the text determination procedure.
Revert for any clarification,
Thanks and Regards,
Avinash.
Hi
Im running Solman 4.0 SP 14. I simply cant find the action to create the SDTM from either the SDMJ or the SDMI is this removed? Can anyone of you please show how to find this action and you you please explain how you connect a test script with the normal correction? Can you also explain why you ever would need to connect a Test Message to a Urgent Correction since this correction is phase independant.
Regards,
Daniel
