Hello there,
we have the following system landscape: SAP CRM (ABAP) for customer offers, SAP NetWeaver Portal (AS Java) 7.1 as runtime environment for Web Dynpro Java UIs and SAP ISU (the properly backend system for business logic). SAP NetWeaver (Portal) and SAP ISU communicate via JCo.
Started from the SAP CRM system, we call Web Dynpro (Java) UIs by clicking available links. On the UIs, we can see datas/information received from the SAP ISU system. But sometimes - there is no definitly work around how to reproduce the error -, we got the error message below:
com.sap.mdi.ObjectFactory: com.sap.conn.jco.JCoException
RFC_ERROR_COMMUNICATION. Connect to message server host failed. Connection parameters ..........
More information you can find in the attached file.
Clearing the browser cache and starting from the beginning doesn't help unfortunatelly.
Is there a best practice how to fix that?
Many thanks,
Cengiz
Can you check if the JCo destination has the correct message server host assigned . Also check if the message server of the ABAP backend is reachable.
Can you check if the other JCo connections have the same issue.
