Release task and withdraw correction

Hi

We have setup charm and the client has come back with a question that I quite dont know how to explain. What is the difference when you withdraw a correction after you release the task in DEV not the transport. As opposed to withdrawing the correction without releasing the task in DEV?

Hi,

I assume that  you aware al the constrains of when can we proceed action "withdraw correction"

Let me explain only your query this way,

if your object A changed as A1 in due to one transport request, and you released the task, now new status of the object is A1, so if you withdrawn , it becomes again A,

in other case, if you nt released the task, then it is regular withdrawn, never going to change anything your system.  just status changes to withdrawn,
