solution manager basic configuration -configure automatically

Hi All,

When i am trying to run the configure automatically step in solman_setup.

it giving me error message "USER ACCOUNT NOT IN VALID DATE" for BW stuff and rest of the steps in this step executing succesfully.

SSO Setup

Store BW settings

check BW work process

setup BW

setup Extract Framework

prepare sap router data

I did crosscheck sso setup and reconfigured but still the same.

I am not sure which user id is pointing.Please let me know if anyone face this issue earlier.

Janakiram,

What account are you using to configure Solution Manger and what Client?

You need to execute SOLMAN_SETUP with DDIC or some other user with SAP_ALL access.  I always use a COPY of DDIC to configure solution manager in my own client.  I do not use 000, like most documents suggest.

HI Ravi,

I am using my ID to setup the config in 500 client and i have SAP_ALL and access.

The error message is not about the authorization it says user account is not in valid date.

It is not giving any help in the logs.I checked my id in the system my id is valid till 31.12.999.

How can i trace which id it's is pointing.

Please check SM_BW_ADMIN in Client 001.

Ravi this problem got fixed my side,

Here we are using the BW functionality in the sam eclient where solution manager is running.

Problem is in the basic configuration setup

step 2-->specify user & Connectivity data --> 2.3 setup credentials

here earlier id was not in validity period that is the reason it is giving user is not in validity period.

I changed the ID in this location and ran the setup again it worked weell.
