'Lots' only support Service in Rfx? why no material?

hi experts,

     we wanna group some of material into a 'package' in RFx,  i created outline item and  i cannot add material as subline, only service avalible.

     do i miss some custmizing?

Hello,

Please check the Hierarchy template assigned to your RFX doc type. You can check it in txn SPRO at IMG node  ACTIVATE SERVICE PROCUREMENT.

If it is HIER_SE, then you can not put materials under an outline. This is the restriction for service hierarchies.

You should use a RFX doc type assigned to HIER_SRM to add materials and services under a outline.
