Is there any size limit for document upload in Solution Manager

Hi everybody,

I would like to know that is there any size limit for the documents that we upload in SOLAR01/SOLAR02.

If yes, then what is the size limit. If No, then is there any way to limit the size of ducment upload.

Hi,

We can able to upload any number of Size in Solman.

However we can able to restrict the Size limit. Please refer the Note 1366526 - Work Centers: Restriction of message attachment size and appreciate me if it is useful.

Thanks for your reply. The SAP Note that you have mentioned is talking about the attachments that we add when creating messages for incident.

Whereas I want to know the size limit for any of kind oproject documentation, training material, Configuration dcoument or test cases document that we add in SOLAR01, SOLAR02.

Hi,

For that there is no size limit for uploading the document.

But we have an other idea, to reduce the size of the DB by moving the content to external content server. Normally these files are stored in table SACONT01 and we can able to do the settings by using the transaction code OCA0.

Also check the note numbered - 546685
