Cannot upload file

When writing a Document or a Blog Post, the "Attach files" feature doesn't show.

You cannot attach files to content created in your personal space.

[Correction] You can attach content to personal blogs and documents (i.e. in your personal space): you just can't attach files to blog and documents posted to a space.

The issue appears when writing a document in the "Semantic Layer" space for instance.

Hi - Just checked with a colleague and confirmed that attachments are not allowed on blogs and documents.  You can only attach files to discussion threads.

The SCN Tip in a minute video below shows  (at 0.43) a blog creation with the "Attach Files" features.

I need to post a document with a pdf attached. How can I do that in SCN?

As an SAP employee, you can use the Content Submission System:

Submit Official SAP Content

Access the Content Submission System to submit articles and media. The Content Submission System now accepts only SAP content (SAP employees only).

I am using the content submission system for articles already.

I will use it for simple documents too then.
