Hi Anoop,

You should have been more clear about your settings.

Do the 2 NWDI systems have the same version or not? Which versions are they?

How are the 2 tracks 'different'? Do they consist of totally different/unrelated SCs or do they have the same SCs with just diffrent track name, etc.?

What exactly are you trying to transport/move: a DC, an SC or an entire track?

Cheers,

Dao

Hi Anoop,

Assuming the 2 NWDIs share the same SLD and, thus, your SC is already defined in the SLD

1. In source NWDI, Transport Studio -> Development tab -> Go to History -> select your SC and click on 'Export SCA' (I believe you can also export SCA from Cons, Assembly, Approval tabs)

2. If not already done: in target NWDI, Landscape Configurator -> select target track --> Track Data -> add SC to the list of developed SCs

3. Physically move the exported SCA to the transport directory of the target NWDI as defined in the Landscape Configurator (e.g. /usr/sap/JTrans/CMS/inbox)

4. In target NWDI, Transport Studio -> select target track -> Check-in tab: the exported SCA should show up here; if not, use 'Configure Check-In' to select the inbox directory -> select the SCA and click Check-In.

After that, your SCA should show up in the Development tab and you can continue going through the import steps of Dev, Cons, etc.

Hope it helps.

Dear Dao and Anoop,

I noticed one point in your steps which might be problematic:

the SCA export must be done on assembly tab.

The 4th point of the note 1259604 also states this.

Zsolt

the two different tracks are used to develop same SC?

if yes, you can just export from one track and import to another one.
