long text from component located in WBS is not getting transferred to PR properly

I am experiencing this weird issue where long text from component located in WBS is not getting transferred to PR properly, 90 out of 100 times; text gets transferred successfully where as other times it just transfers first line.

Our copying rules are set properly as text is being transferred properly 90% of the time, it’s only the other 10% where it’s behaving erratically and I cannot reproduce that on will. 

Any thoughts on how to resolve this?

Please check if there is any enhancement which is conflicting with this particular function. Check in Debug mode, where exactly it may go wrong.

It may also possible that if you are following certain method while creating/changing or saving the transaction it may not be flowing to Purchase Req. Tyr to identify in which cases the update does not happen. Then simulate the same in debug mode which will help you to identify the cause.

Normally this kind of update may not always work if it is done using some enhancement.In that case try to introduce some timelag so that SAVE command is triggered only when the required function is completed. It can also happen if the enhancement is implemented keeping in view only few situations. Our enhancement code sometimes does not get trigger if user do not follow normal procedure but use some alternative method for changing/saving the transaction,
