Download Manager problem - stop

Hi to all,

I am having problems with the download manager..

I dont know why but it works fine for a couple of minutes and then stops the download.. it freezes..

The only solution is to close it and open it again..

is this a known issue?

I have windows vista and the latest download manager (recently downloaded from SWDC)

Use the latest JRE will solve this problem.

I've used Download Manger with Vista and I cannot say that it ran without any problems.  But, it was the old DM.

You probably need to completely uninstall/re-install it.  Also, upgrade your Java environment (JRE 7.0, JDK 1.7.0_02).  You may also want to run the DM in Windows XP SP3 compatibility mode.

Give this a shot and see what happens.
