411-K / 311-K posting from WM-Sloc to non-WM-Sloc

I am trying to setup the WM settings for the following postings.

Movement type: 411-K

From WM-storage location to non-WM-storage location

Movement type: 311-K

From WM-storage location to non-WM-storage location

It seems like there is currently no transfer requirement / posting change created after the MB1A-IM-posting.

Could you please provide me some guidance?

Hello,

When you try to move material from WM managed sloc to no-WM sloc system creates TR, for that you have to maintain entry in OMLR transaction (Assign WM Movement Type References to IM Movement Types) here you have to maintained ref movement type under 'stock transfer" and "transfer posting" column and then assign those movement types to WM movement types. So you must be missing this setting

Hello,

please notice that you can also do the stock transfer from WM to non WM starting directly from WM.

In order to do that you can set the customizing under

Interface --> Inventory management --> Storage location control --> Stor. Location Control in Warehouse Mgmt

in such a way that if you transfer the stock to a certain storage type (e.g 999) the system makes automatically the movement you specified  to the storage location of destination.

I used it in the past also with movement 411 for consignment stock.
