Can anyone give me a complete and concise explanation of what "Bootstrapping" is in SAP Netweaver IDM please.

I understand by Bootstrapping on the context of IDM, as a routine during implementation which deploy escential configuration based on the data given prior the execution.

Read the IDM implementation guide (page 10)
