MaxDB install ERROR

Hi all. I install ides r3 47x200 sr1 (solaris, maxdb 7.5.00.21) Database instance. In phase <b>MaxDB Server Instalation</b> i have reach error:

<i>starting preparing phase of package Database Kernel 7.5.00.21 64 bit

cannot do update check - test file "/sapdb/IDT/db/pgm/kernel" not found

installation exited abnormally at We, Feb 14, 2007 at 15:13:49</i>

What can i do to solve this problem?

I copy this file from another installation of DB with some version and patch level, and successfuly continue

check whether MAx DB components already exist in your system

All the prev components like sapmgmt,maxdb.saploc need to be removed..

-Manually delete the MaxDB files from services

for this run/services.msc ..search for maxdb and delete

- uninstall the antivirus if there

- check whether server service is running fine,,else restart it again nd check

- check the system requirements XP version,,maxdb expiry too
