Problem with job LANDSCAPE FETCH Central Data Copy Cancelled, Predecessor Job still Active

Hi All,

We have done required SLD configuration for our BI 7.3 ABAP & JAVA(separate
abap and separate java)but system is not coming in SOLMAN SMSY.

When we check job LANDSCAPE FETCH its running but log is saying

Central Data Copy Cancelled, Predecessor Job still Active.

Kindly help us to solve this issue.

Hi,

Please check if some landscape fetch job is still running. If some job is running then cancel that job and again start the job.

Check in SM37 with job name "LANDSCAPE FETCH".

I have canceled this job and then rescheduled but same issue actually  job is not getting canceled it finished but
log say job LANDSCAPE FETCH Central Data Copy
Cancelled, Predecessor Job still Active

Could you please check if there is any dump or any log in SM21 for this job ?

No there is no dump and nothing in sm21  because job is getting finished successfully

My actulle problem is  BI java system & BI abap system is not comming solman smsy.

when i go http:solman;50000/sld  technical system there i can see  but in smsy its not comming.

Hi,

Have you scheduled SLD and LMDB sync jobs ?

BI Java system should come under Technical System in SMSY. Could you please run transaction solman_setup and go to manage system configuration. Please check there if these system exists.

Any jobs active in SM37?...If so you can do Job -> Check Status.

Any errors reported in SLDCHECK from SOLMAN?

Hi,

It looks systems are still not present in LMDB and that is the reason systems are not appearing in SMSY. I will suggest you to resync LMDB with SLD by running complete sync from solman_setup.

Hi Tabrayz,

For a change in SM37 just do a search by program name instead of jobname. The program name is "RSGET_SMSY" and check if anything throws up.

i checked RSGET_SMSY" in sm37 this job was also finished with same Central Data Copy Cancelled, Predecessor Job still Active.
