Subcontract process

Dear All ,

Please need ur valuable suggestion for the below scenario:

Customer asks for X(FG) material now plant manufactures semifinished

product and send its to his vendor where he will make it FG and from there

itself he delivers the material to customer .Now how we can map this scenario.

It looks this can be achieved using third party sales subcontracting process. As per the thread http://scn.sap.com/thread/593508 it is available in EHP 5.

this is a standard scenario in SAP.

Delivery by an external supplier(THIRD PARTY ORDER PROCESSING).
