RFC_ERROR_SYSTEM_FAILURE: IDocException occurred

Hi,

  I am getting below issue in the PI Logs and SM58 of ECC while sending an IDoc from a Non-Unicode ECC to a Unicode single stack PI system.

"com.sap.conn.jco.JCoException: (104) RFC_ERROR_SYSTEM_FAILURE: IDocException occurred"

I have searched sdn but could not find correct solution.

If anybody has some solution on this please let me know.

This error could be due to user authorization on the jco settings. Please check this.

That is one of the possible reasons. Take help from BASIS.  Also You might want to make sure the idoc version is same in both ECC and PI.

Hi,

Make sure the RFC created for PI has the Unicode option checked in SM59.

Hi,

  The Issue has been resolved. IDocs are flowing into PI after the relevant roles and authorization objects have been added to the SAP JCO user.

@Srinivasan R - Unicode option is disabled in SM59 in ECC system.

Hi Sarat,

i am getting this error : RFC_ERROR_SYSTEM_FAILURE: IDocException occurred in SM58 in ECC system.

the strange thing is : it is working fine for MATMAS idoc, but not working for an enhancement of MATMAS idoc. the ICO which i have created, i deleted and then recreated it and activated it. still i am getting this error.

this error is coming only on sending the enhancement of MATMAS idoc.

but MATMAS idoc scenario is working fine.

any suggestions, how to rectify this error.
