Minimum release required for WD Flex Island and Silverlight

Hi all,

I am trying to find out the minimum Netweaver version required for WD Flex Island and Silverlight Island.

It is my understanding that on AS Java che minimum release is CE 7.11 Ehp1

I need an official document (e.g. help page/SAP note/...) that states so, as I havent' found one.

The same for ABAP side would be useful (and would prevent me from cross posting this )

SAP NW 7.0 EHP1 is minimum

I am sure about Web AS Java  but not sure for ABAP stack. Most likely it is same.

Please check, it says EHP1 has flash islands compatibility. and i have executed wdjava using islands on ehp1. so thats makes it on both

Did you check the release notes.

Flash islands are there from NW 7.0 EHP1 and CE7.1 EHp1

Hi Sandip, thanks for your reply.

It is clear that in ABAP 7.01 and Java CE 7.11 Islands are there.

What I was looking for is a document where it is clearly stated that Island are supported since a given release (7.01 or CE 7.11 respectively I assume).

Any document stating that?

I am not sure if there is any such document. You probably have to work thru the release notes to find when these features were introduced..

The links i have gives are for CE7.1 EHP1 SP9...You may want to check the SHP1 SP01 notes to see if Web dynpro had these 2 features (I guess these were introduced with EHP1 SP01) but pls confirm again.
